Gig
Named after and inspired by the dinghy that Matt Tucker learnt to row in as a child, while living on and sailing around the South Pacific onboard his parents 48ft Gaff rigged ketch, 'New Zealand Maid'.
Sustainably built, performance oriented and incredibly stable, with a generous load carrying capacity she is a great all rounder optimized for rowing, sailing and small outboards.
The Gig is built using our Flaxwood cork and flax composite 'timber' that looks and feels like real wood, while being lighter, stronger and with zero maintenance.
Her smooth, classic lines not only look great but require minimal effort to move through the water and she is a good balance between comfort, stability and efficiency perfect for rowing or small outboards.
The Gig will come with an optional lug rig or gaff rigged cutter for better performance and a 'small ship' look.
